How to manage stock and returns for product bundles
Plan available quantity, component reservation and partial returns for kits made of several SKUs.

Break a kit into components
A bundle has its own sales SKU, but physical stock may remain with each component. Calculate sellable bundle quantity from available component quantities. Running out of one part affects the whole offer.
Check each channel’s rules
Marketplaces differ in their handling of bundle listings, barcodes and returns. State kit contents and quantities clearly. Reserve the correct amount of every component when an order arrives.

Do not reverse all stock on every return
If the buyer returns only one part, do not automatically add every component back to sellable stock. Warehouse inspection, refund decision and stock adjustment should be visible in one case record.
